Since that initial streak, rugby has seemed to draw in some characters that just can’t help themselves but to take their clothes off and run onto the pitch. Let’s take a look at 10 of the best over the past 40 years. 1. Has to be Mr O’Brien himself. The policeman’s helmet now resides in the Twickenham rugby museum. Footwear and sunglasses, a classic streakers attire. 6. This Cowboy Streaker has had his hat knocked off during his capture at the Adelaide Sevens – 2011. 7. A naked female streaker interrupts the scrum during the Guinness Premiership match between London Irish and Northampton Saints, 2009. You can tell what the players think of it. 8. Wayne Barnes reluctantly gives this topless lady streaker a red card at the Middlesex Sevens in 2009. 9. Again at the Middlesex sevens, 1999, this streaker shows off his flexibility and gymnastics skills by nailing a cartwheel.
Streaking is the act of running naked through a public place as a prank, a dare, for publicity or an act of protest. It is often associated with sporting events but can occur in more secluded areas. It usually involves running quickly which also reflects the original meaning of the word before it became associated with nudity. The most public form of streaking is running naked before huge crowds at sporting events. However, many streakers seek quieter venues, such as a neighborhood at night after most people have gone to bed. Some have even found it especially satisfying to streak on rural highways in the very early hours of the morning, when there are not many commuters on the road. A number of streakers do not intend to expose themselves to others, but find it thrilling to do it in places that often have people present, but do not at the time of their streak. Streaking may be an individual or a group activity.
Streak lets them be successful at those processes because its built right into where they spend most of their day - the Inbox. What we’re about is pretty simple: We want to build a great product with a great team. We think a great product is one that provides value for users by solving a real pain. We think a great team is one where you’re surrounded by people who care about their work and are also kind, friendly and supportive. We know there are a lot of great people out there who think the same. A bunch of them are already working here at Streak, it’s something we're really proud of as founders. The best way to understand what we’re talking about is to meet us.
