In 1970, Cathal was singing in local clubs around the Cork area. By 1971, he was the Musical Director of the Montfort Singers. In fact, Cathal was no stranger to the showband scene, either, as he had been touring Ireland with his band, Stateside, for several years prior to his trip to Eurovision starting in 1977. Managed by Guy Robinson, of Dublin, they played "the usual" dates around the country. The late 1970's were an exciting time for Irish entertainment in Europe, and specifically the country's involvement with the Eurovision Song Contest.
Suspicious Minds (album). Entire front cover, but does not include back or insides of original artwork.
Suspicious minds is the best band bar none that I have seen and heard as an Elvis tribute band d has created a professionally sound that few could have duplicated. Great songs great energy. Suspicious Minds doesn't play for or to the audience, they play WITH the audience participation and everyone, even the hard working band members have a blast.
