Switched On (also known as Switched On Stereolab or Switched On Volume 1) is a compilation of Stereolab's first three releases, and was originally released in 1992. Switched On was later licensed to Slumberland Records for a US release, and Rough Trade Germany, for that country, both in 1992.

First time vinyl pressing of Switched on SNES’s debut album. Includes extra tracks, Such as Triforce which was previously exclusive to prior releases on cassette, alongside an additional track created for this release Zelda Rescue. All music mastered specifically for vinyl, and cut at 45 rpm to enable a new listening experience when played back at 33 1/3 rpm, and higher quality playback.

Switched On (EP), an EP by Madchild. Switched-On Bach, a 1968 electronic album by Walter Carlos. Switched-On Brandenburgs, a 1979 electronic album by Wendy Carlos. Switched on Christmas, a 2000 Christmas album by Venus Hum. "Switched On", a song by the Beastie Boys from Hello Nasty. Switched On", a song by Vaux from There Must Be Some Way to Stop Them.

EP or Mini Album (Extended Play) – originally a record, on each side of which only 2-4 musical compositions with a total duration of sound of 15-20 minutes were placed. Initially, EP was called the 7-inch diameter vinyl record, recorded at 33⅓ RPM. This difference of speed with respect to the simple engraving at 45 RPM allowed it to have a longer duration (a maximum of 25 minutes, 12’30 per side) compared to the length of the single, whose maximum duration could not exceed 15 minutes. An EP usually contains four to seven tracks (for 10 to 30 minutes of music). A remix of a single song is not an EP unless it contains in addition to other songs that do not remix. The quality, as a result, was average, but this was compensated by the fact that the difference in sound was not noticeable in the mass audio equipment of the 1950-60’s.

Switched On is the sixth EP by Canadian rapper Madchild. The EP was released on September 30, 2014 by Battle Axe Records. Each album contained two seven-inch records, plus an illustrated booklet containing the text of the recording, so that children could follow along by reading. Some of the titles included Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and what was then a recent release, because of the popularity of 7 and other formats, SP records became less popular and the production of SPs in Japan was suspended in 1963. In the 1950s and 1960s, EPs were usually compilations of singles or album samplers and were played at 45 rpm on seven-inch discs. Lawn Mower Man is the second studio album by Canadian rapper Madchild, released on August 6, 2013 by Suburban Noize an. mage: Lawn mower man. Silver Tongue Devil.

Switched On is the simplest of the three. Released in the fall of 1992 five months after Stereolab’s introductory album, Peng!, it compiles Stereolab’s first three singles from 1991-Super-Electric, Stunning Debut Album, and Super 45. The band was still a tidy quartet: drummer Joe Dilworth (of th’ Faith Healers), bassist Martin Kean (formerly of the Chills), t Tim Gane, and Laetitia Sadier singing sweetly in French and English about topics plucked from a grad student’s dog-eared textbooks. The 25-track set begins with the six-song Music for the Amorphous Body Center EP, created as the complement to an exhibition by the sculptor Charles Long. If amoebas could dance, they’d waltz to this burbling, squelching suite. Iron Man, an exotica-inspired and breakbeat-driven single from 1997, is the better indication of where they were headed.
